The Greatest Stories of Michigan State Basketball



A MUST have for MSU fans everywhere!
This is a terrific compilation that details the history of the men's basketball program at Michigan State University. From the earliest years of MSU hoops to the arrival of Jud Heathcoate in the 1970s to the shift in venue from Jenison Fieldhouse to the Breslin Center to MSU becoming a National Power under coach Tom Izzo - it is all explored in this DVD.

The "stars of the show," of course, are the MSU basketball players. Many of the players referenced and interviewed in the DVD now have their names hanging from the rafters @ the Brez. Such names as "Jumping" Johnny Green (pre-Magic Johnson, the biggest name in MSU hoops history), Scott Skiles, Steve Smith, Shawn Respert, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Mateen Cleaves, Morris Peterson - they're all here!

The biggest seasons come under review as well, such as their first Final Four in 1957 and the historic National Championship yr of 1979 which pitted the very first match-up between Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. The...
